About the Department:

Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and chemical dependency. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention. Mercy Behavioral Health offers inpatient and outpatient options for all ages.

Under the supervision of the registered nurse, assist in the individualized care of the patient directed toward achieving the patient's highest level of physical and mental wellness. Minimum requirements: High School diploma

Preferred Experience: Behavioral Health, Psych, or Direct Support Professional

Upcoming Expansion:Construction has begun to add an additional Behavioral Health unit on site at Mercy South.

The physical demands described here are the representative of the minimums that must be met by an employee to perform all essential functions of the job. Most physical demands are below, plus: Minimal: lift floor to waist height of < 30 lbs (horizontally) and < 40 lbs force, balance, Frequent: hand coordination, data entry.
