The Role

You will operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials. Working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare.

Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule

  • Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • 12-hour static shifts (Nights - 6:00pm – 6:00am)




What You'll Do

  • Execute and coordinate production activities to meet safety, quantity, quality, and delivery targets
  • Monitor production processes, equipment performance, and material flow for maximum efficiency
  • Implement standard operating procedures and ensure consistent compliance
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and quality issues promptly
  • Collaborate with maintenance to coordinate equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Champion workplace safety through personal example and consistent reinforcement of safety protocols
  • Perform routine safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety procedures by all team members
  • Ensure all products meet established quality standards and customer specifications
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement
  • Partner with scheduler, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize production flow
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding production status
  • Participate in problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Provides ongoing performance management through regular coaching, feedback, and 1:1 sessions to build core competencies, drive development and engagement, address performance issues, and hold staff accountable for improving results.
  • Utilize Gallup engagement survey data to develop and engage direct reports
  • Utilize HRIS system (ADP) to manage attendance, performance reviews, etc
  • Foster a collaborative, safe, and productive work environment that encourages innovation
  • Coordinate staffing levels and assignments to optimize productivity and control labor costs
  • Other Duties assigned by management

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
  • OSHA certification and safety management training preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safety management systems
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven success in team development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with production planning systems and manufacturing technologies
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Strong time management skills

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary:

  • Wages ranging from $34.00 - $38.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
  • $2.00 Shift Differential
