These rigs are used to ensure wells remain productive, fix any issues, and sometimes increase output. Night shifts are common in the oilfield industry to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Workers on these rigs often perform tasks such as replacing equipment, cleaning out wells, or installing new components. Safety is especially important due to the challenging conditions and reduced visibility at night.
