Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Cycle Count, Receive, identify, store, distribute, inventory, pick, pack, and ship materials, supplies, components, and equipment in the most efficient manner. Emphasis on picking and shipping experience. Must have strong forklift experience with specific experience in turret trucks or narrow aisled lifts. Candidates must be willing to work Day and Night shifts.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute Picking, Shipping or Receiving
Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
Move items to appropriate areas.
Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
Utilize safe working habits.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
Must be willing to work Day and Night shifts.
Computer skills required - Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
Must be able to operate forklift, and other Warehouse machinery.
Must be able to read and interpret blue prints / drawings.
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and departments.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
Must be able to work at heights and life up to 50 lbs.
Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must have specific experience in turret trucks or narrow aisled lifts.
Heavy stand-up and sit-down forklift experience required.
Warehouse experience required.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with MRP/ERP Software preferred.
