Day-to-day as an Inside Account Executive

As a Full-Time Inside Account Executive at NICOR INC, you will play a vital role in supporting sales efforts through a range of responsibilities that ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicate daily with the Sales Department regarding customer requests, inquiries, and order status updates.
  • Utilize NICOR's Enterprise Resource System (SHIMS) to process orders and inquiries.
  • Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Interpret customer requests to identify and address underlying business needs.
  • Provide solutions to customer inquiries related to products, shipping, and accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate product pricing quotes for customer projects as required.
  • Promote upselling opportunities: actively communicate, support, and drive adoption of sales promotions
  • Provide timely and effective follow-up on sales calls, customer inquiries, and orders
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and support by responding promptly and efficiently to Distributor Partners, Sales Agents, and end-users via phone, email, and other communication channels.
