Willmer Engineering is growing! Were looking for a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician to join our Atlanta team. Whether youre an experienced technician or just starting your career, this is a great opportunity certifications are preferred, but were willing to train the right person.


What Youll Do

  • Test soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and other construction materials on active job sites.
  • Operate field equipment such as nuclear density gauges, compression machines, and coring devices.
  • Record results using mobile tools and communicate findings with contractors, clients, and engineers.
  • Support special inspections and site assessments.


What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in varied conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Certifications (NICET Level I/II, ACI Level I Concrete, Nuclear Density Gauge) are preferred but well provide paid training and certification support for the right candidate.
  • DOT project experience a plus.
