Job description

Facility: Home Care Niagara County
Shift: Shift 1
Status: Full Time FTE: 1.000000
Bargaining Unit: ACE Associates
Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: Yes
Work Schedule: Days with Call Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation and flex to 8:00am to 5:00pm
Summary:
Directs the day to day activities of the branch and is responsible for supervising/managing the care delivery to continually and simultaneously achieve the home care ministry's goals and objectives. This position requires knowledge of Home Health practices, procedures, and standards in accordance with state and federal regulations; and of personnel principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
  • BSN required
  • Maintains a current NY State Professional License
  • Master's degree desirable

EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum one (1) year Leadership/Management Experience required
  • Two (2) years current experience in supervisory role or home care management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Knowledge of current Department of Health and home care regulations
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with the geriatric population
  • Exercises necessary cost control measures
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize needs and problems solved expeditiously
  • Ability to coordinate data from multiple sources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Customer focus
  • Driver's License

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work in fast pace environment
  • Varied and flexible hours
  • Travel may be required to attend meetings and training off-site
  • Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
  • Occasional exposure to one or more mildly unpleasant physical conditions
