Position: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Software Engineer, Level 3)

Location: Columbia, MD (on-site)

Experience Requirement:

  • 12+ years with a Bachelor's degree, OR

Description

Join the Endpoint Snapshots (ES) team as a high-caliber full-stack engineer thriving in a rapid development and deployment environment. A key focus of this role is the ability to react swiftly to emergent opportunities, designing and deploying new capabilities under tight timeframes.

You'll provide end-to-end support to a cross-functional team automating critical solutions across the entire software stack, including user interfaces, middleware, databases, analytics, and cloud architectures. Collaboration is essential as you work alongside teammates and partners to modernize legacy infrastructure and scale future capabilities.

Your responsiveness will directly accelerate results by leveraging cutting-edge automation and AI-assisted development tools to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end full-stack solutions, including user interfaces, REST middleware, databases, and analytics.

  • Automate new opportunities and capabilities that can be seamlessly leveraged by internal teams and partners.

  • Maintain and update existing front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery, while preparing to migrate future front-ends to modern UI libraries (React, Angular, Vue).

  • Optimize existing backends using Python, Asyncio, and Pandas, and occasionally perform updates to legacy Java Map/Reduce analytics.

  • Manage and deploy services within existing infrastructure environments using Docker, Nginx, and GitLab CI/CD.

  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode to accelerate code delivery and enhance team velocity.

Skills Requirements

  • Production-grade software development experience in Python and JavaScript, building robust full-stack architectures.

  • Knowledge of developing user interfaces, REST middleware, databases, and analytics within a cross-functional team framework.

  • Experience with collaborative development workflows, showcasing a strong history of teamwork and communication.

  • Familiarity with git-based version control systems and continuous integration pipelines.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience using and customizing AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, etc.) through advanced configurations like Skills and Memory.

  • Familiarity with modern UI libraries (React, Angular, Vue) and cloud-based hosting environments like AWS.

  • Experience with infrastructure expansion and deployment using tools such as Docker, Nginx, and GitLab CI/CD.

  • Prior experience in cyber operations or capability development.

Compensation Employment Policy

Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD).
