A position with the NFHS often involves extensive fieldwork, where team members travel to various regions to collect demographic and health-related data directly from households. Collaboration with local health officials and training on data collection tools are integral parts of the job. Effective communication and adaptability are key, as field teams must ensure data accuracy while respecting cultural sensitivities.
