Job Description

As a Solutions Architect at SmartRecruiters, you operate at the intersection of Product Strategy and Enterprise Consulting. You will act as the trusted technical authority for our most strategic clients, translating their complex needs into actionable insights that shape our R&D direction. You will serve as our definitive subject matter expert in guiding our highest-priority initiatives through seamless digital transformations and connecting their broader HR technology ecosystems. Through visible industry thought leadership, you will play a vital role in establishing SmartRecruiters as the technical gold standard in the market."

What you will be doing

  • Strategic Consulting: Act as the expert technical authority for our most strategic clients on emerging AI architectures and critical topics such as data privacy, security and AI governance, Partner with Account Executives on a small portfolio of key accounts to resolve complex technical "deal-blockers," providing the technical depth and foresight needed to build executive-level confidence.

  • Product Bridge & Roadmap Influence: Bring real-world customer context into continuous feedback cycles between the field and R&D. In this respect, you will act as a catalyst for innovation, injecting deep field experience into the product lifecycle. You empower our product teams to build industry-defining solutions and contribute to enablement content so that Sales, Customer Service & Partners can sell and deliver against what Product is shipping, and customers understand how to best leverage the new capabilities.

  • Enterprise Transformation & Connectivity: Play a pivotal role in guiding SAP SuccessFactors customers through their digital transformation journeys onto the SmartRecruiters platform:

    • Transformation Readiness: Own technical feasibility assessments for early, high-value enterprise transitions. You will translate complex global requirements into clear, decisive strategies for system readiness and approach. By providing the technical "green light" for our most significant platform shifts, you will define and maintain our standard transition pathways and integration reference architectures.

    • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the strategic SME for enterprise architecture and system connectivity, providing expert guidance to our Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams. To maximise your impact, you will provide feasibility and architectural validation for top-tier clients, rather than providing tactical or operational support for every individual deployment.

    • Architect the Transformation Strategy: Shape our methodology by transforming insights from complex implementations and high-stakes digital shifts into scalable company standards. Contribute real-world experience to help define and measure what a successful enterprise landing looks like. Codify repeatable patterns through blueprints, reference architectures, and migration playbooks that enable Partners and Professional Services to execute with precision, reducing the need for Solutions Architect involvement in every engagement.

  • Thought Leadership & Industry Influence: Serve as a visible industry voice, representing SmartRecruiters at events and in publications.  Partner with Marketing and Product on customer showcases that highlight modern TA tech stacks and successful enterprise transformations.

Curate and maintain the SmartRecruiters Trust Center, ensuring prospects and customers have self-service access to the latest SOC 2 reports, privacy policies, and security certifications to build and maintain market trust.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in enterprise SaaS, HR technology, or solution architecture roles, with a strong understanding of complex global enterprise environments and digital transformation programmes.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise system integrations, APIs, middleware, and HR technology ecosystems, ideally including experience with platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or other HCM technologies.
  • Strong understanding of emerging AI technologies, AI governance, data privacy, security frameworks, and enterprise architecture principles within cloud-based environments.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including CIOs, CHROs, Enterprise Architects, and executive-level decision makers within large, matrixed organisations.
  • Experience translating complex customer requirements into scalable technical strategies, reference architectures, migration frameworks, and product recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Partners to influence roadmap direction and drive successful customer outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Thought leadership mindset with experience representing organisations externally through customer workshops, speaking engagements, industry events, or technical publications.
