They are skilled in JavaScript, React, and understand the unique features of Next.js such as routing, API routes, and server-side rendering. Their responsibilities often include developing user interfaces, optimizing performance, and ensuring web applications are SEO-friendly. Next.js developers also work with backend APIs, manage deployments, and integrate modern web technologies to deliver robust and scalable applications.

Is NextJS fullstack or frontend?

Next.js is a React framework primarily used for building frontend applications, but it also supports backend development with server-side rendering and API routes, making it a fullstack framework. Next.js developers often work with both client-side and server-side code to create dynamic web applications.

To thrive as a Next.js Developer, you need strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Next.js, along with a solid understanding of modern web development concepts. Familiarity with tools like Git, RESTful APIs, and experience using frameworks such as Node.js or TypeScript is highly beneficial. Excellent problem-solving abilities, collaboration, and effective communication skills help developers work efficiently within teams and deliver high-quality solutions. These skills ensure optimized, scalable, and maintainable applications that meet client and business needs in a fast-evolving tech landscape.
