Job description

KTVO is seeking a full-time News Production Assistant.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate Control Room equipment (Audio Console, Video/Graphics Playback, Video Switcher, etc.) for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscasts
  • Editing News Video and Graphics
  • Assisting News Department with on-location video captures, live shots, photography, etc.
  • Assisting Web Department with Social Media and other tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

General Hours: 9 hours/day. Arrival times vary from AM News Staff to PM News Staff. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Other hours as needed.

Education/Experience Level: Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred. Prefer experience in News Production but will train the right person. Training will be provided.
