WXXV FOX 25/NBC 25, Gulfport/Biloxi, Mississippi market is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Newscast Production Director to lead the production of daily newscasts, promotional spots, and special programming. This position requires strong technical skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline pressure, and effective leadership within a fast-paced newsroom environment.
RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Direct live and recorded newscasts, promotional spots, and special programs
  • Create and manage graphics for all newscasts
  • Direct teases and commercial content as needed
  • Serve as shift supervisor for the News Production team
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new employees
  • Maintain awareness of software updates and new production tools
  • Submit daily written reports on quality control issues
  • Communicate effectively with newsroom staff and other departments
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to respond quickly to last-minute changes and work calmly under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Experience supervising or leading a production team
  • Working knowledge of broadcast production equipment and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, punctual, and courteous demeanor
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable attendance record
