New Patterns ABA VA, a leading provider of in-home and community-based ABA therapy, is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Midlothian, VA. As a passionate and compassionate RBT, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

About the Role

As an RBT at New Patterns ABA VA, you will work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized treatment plans developed and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You will help clients build communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills that transform their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement ABA programs in clients' homes under the supervision of a BCBA

  • Collect accurate data on client progress during each session

  • Use positive reinforcement strategies to teach functional skills and reduce challenging behaviors

  • Maintain professional, compassionate relationships with clients and their families

  • Attend team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions regularly

  • Complete session notes and documentation in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification (BACB) required

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred)

  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes

  • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

  • Ability to pass a background check
