The **New Nurse Graduate** provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI's in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.
**In-Center RNs have Sundays off; no overnight shifts.**
**Schedule:** Potential fulltime shifts vary from four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts and are set upon hiring.

**Responsibilities**
**What You Can Expect:**
+ DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions, job shadowing, and one-on-one skills training
+ Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
+ Prepare dialysis machine and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
+ Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
+ Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching, including relevant documentation
+ Administer and chart all prescribed medications under supervision of registered nurse
+ Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
+ Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
+ Assist in medication inventory maintenance
+ Contribute to training new staff members as directed
+ Additional tasks as requested

**Education/Training:**
+ **Accredited nursing degree required**
+ Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
