ABOUT YOU

Are you someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems in real time, and seeing projects come to life in the field? Do you have an extreme commitment to safety? Are you a hard-working leader that never settles for less than superior quality? Do you prefer to manage the construction process from outside the trailer?

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As an Assistant Superintendent, every day brings a new lesson. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Field Leadership – Oversee daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications.
  • Subcontractor Coordination – Manage subcontractor activities, communicate schedule updates, and ensure work is properly coordinated across trades.
  • Material & Equipment Management – Assist with material deliveries, equipment coordination, shop drawing approvals, and material submittals.
  • Progress & Cost Tracking – Help prepare job progress reports, review field purchase orders and invoices, and monitor project costs.
  • Owner & Design Team Communication – Maintain regular communication with owners, architects, and project stakeholders regarding project progress and field activities.
  • Jobsite Meetings – Lead and participate in jobsite coordination meetings with project managers, regional managers, subcontractors, and other project team members.
  • Documentation – Maintain accurate daily reports and jobsite records, including project activities, site conditions, visitors, and key project decisions.
  • Safety Leadership – Promote and enforce the company's safety program while maintaining a safe, productive jobsite for all team members.
  • Team Collaboration – Partner with Project Managers and field teams to understand how office and field operations work together to successfully deliver projects.

Every day as a Superintendent is different, but you'll play a key role in keeping projects safe, organized, and on schedule.
