Role overview

DUAL NorthAmerica, Inc.is seekingaSoftware Engineer to join our team that will design, develop, and install software solutions. Responsibilities include gathering technical requirements from user stories, defining system functionality, and writing code in various languages like .NET and Java programming languages (e.g.C# orJScript.NET.). Our ideal candidate is experienced in the Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to automated tests and deployment. The role of the Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software thatcomplies withcoding standards and application level architectural design patterns.

Role responsibilities

Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)

Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions

Write well-designed, testable code

Integrate software components into a fully functional software system

Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

Document and maintain software functionality

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback

Comply with project plans and industry standards

Ensure software is updated with latest features

Key requirements

Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field

Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer

Experience designing interactive SOA applications in a cloud-basedenvironment

Ability to develop software inC# .NETCoreor other programming languages

Excellent knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including SQL Server

Experience with Azure COSMOS databases is aplus

Experience developing web applications using in Angular, Node .NETframeworks

Experience with test-drivendevelopment

Experience with AZURE serverlessarchitecture

Proficiencyin software engineering tools

Excellent written, verbal and client-facing communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Ability to follow policies and procedures

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

Travel required 0-10% of the time

Ability to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the workday to perform tasks in a remote, home-office setting.
