Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) –Emergency Department Cohort (New Grads)

Lutheran General

Park Ridge, IL

Cohort to start in month of October 2026

Must have Official Pass Letter or RN Illinois License by start date

Full Time; 7p-7:30a shift

Where you will work:

45 bed unit that provides nursing care to patient population needing emergency services. Lutheran General is a Level 1 Trauma Medical Center with magnet designation.

What we are Looking For :

•           Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Current IL RN license or Official Pass  Letter prior to start of cohort

•           BSN preferred, ADN acceptable

•           New Grad only; preference for capstone/immersion in the Emergency Room or experience as a Tech in the ED

•           Must be available to start October 2026 (date to be determined)

•           Current AHA CPR

•           Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts in order to accommodate staffing

We are seeking new grad RN’s that are passionate about the Emergency Room to join a cohort where you will learn to be efficient as a Registered Nurse in Advocate Lutheran General’s Adult Emergency Department.
