Dialysis Registered Nurse (PRN)

Facility: Alliance Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
Location: Irvington, New Jersey
Shift: PRN
Salary: Up to $52/hour

Job Overview

Alliance Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Dialysis RN to join their team. The RN will provide direct patient care, coordinate dialysis services, and support LPN/LVN and Patient Care Technician (PCT) staff. This role allows for meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Execute the dialysis program and provide direct patient care.

  • Collect, analyze, and document patient health data accurately.

  • Develop care plans and interventions based on patient assessment.

  • Supervise LPN/LVN and support staff during patient care.

  • Safely operate dialysis equipment and perform POC testing and quality control.

  • Advocate for patients, ensuring non-discriminatory care.

  • Obtain informed consent for procedures.

  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and track QAPI goals.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external institutions.

  • Provide education and support for home dialysis patients and families.

  • Maintain staff competencies and ensure regulatory training completion.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff as needed.

Requirements

Education:

  • BSN preferred; AA or Diploma in Nursing acceptable.

Experience:
