Requirements

You're a dental hygienist who has:

  • Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Maryland)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

As a dental hygienist, you will:

  • Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and SRP
  • Take and review digital X-rays 
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Identify and document periodontal disease and treatment needs
  • Assist doctors during exams and communicate findings clearly
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts (Open Dental preferred)
  • Support a productive hygiene schedule and patient flow
  • Promote adjunctive services (fluoride, Arrestin, whitening, etc.) in an ethical, patient-focused manner
