Micron's Embedded DEG Product Engineering team focuses on enabling highquality DRAM products through close collaboration across Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance. The team supports innovative Automotive DRAM solutions and plays a critical role in delivering reliable products to both internal and external customers.

The Product Engineer is responsible for supporting flawless product releases by serving as the technical interface across multiple engineering and manufacturing organizations. This role contributes to product quality, yield, and reliability while supporting the development and validation of testing, documentation, and data analysis for Automotive DRAM products.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and validate process conditions and product testing programs.
  • Identify productspecific testing requirements and develop specialized tests to address newly identified failure modes.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned products, coordinating across multi-functional teams.
  • Debug failures and perform root cause analysis on customer returns and yield issues to determine corrective actions.
  • Monitor and project product yields and develop data analysis tools to improve access to technical product data.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Ability to write simple programs demonstrating a basic understanding of programming concepts in at least one programming language.
  • Willingness to relocate to Manassas, VA and work onsite.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to analyze technical data to identify failures and yield issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a related engineering role.
  • Familiarity with VLSI concepts and semiconductor device physics.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to contribute to team growth across multiple roles.
