We are seeking professionals with expertise in either Data Analytics or Data Strategy to help bridge the gap between business needs, healthcare data assets, and technical implementation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex data into actionable insights, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and improving the quality, accessibility, and strategic value of enterprise data.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience working with healthcare, financial, or operational data. Whether your strengths are in analytics, governance, stakeholder engagement, or data strategy, you'll play a critical role in helping drive data-informed decision making across the business.

What You'll Do
  • Support data governance activities related to Aetna Data Lakehouse assets within Google Cloud Platform.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Aetna claims and membership data.
  • Partner with Finance, Data Governance, and business stakeholders to ensure data consistency, quality, and usability.
  • Create and maintain data quality reviews, controls, and monitoring processes.
  • Develop and align common business definitions and data standards across multiple business areas.
  • Collaborate with Data Stewards and enterprise partners to enhance data governance tools and processes.
  • Help drive communication and adoption of data assets across Finance and business teams.
  • Translate business requirements into data solutions and actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, accessibility, and reporting capabilities.
  • Support strategic initiatives that advance enterprise data management and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data strategy, informatics, finance, healthcare analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business insights.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
For Analytics-Focused Candidates
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with querying large datasets.
  • Experience performing data analysis, validation, reporting, and data quality assessments.
  • Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within healthcare or financial data.
For Strategy-Focused Candidates
  • Experience with data governance, data stewardship, business requirements, or data management initiatives.
  • Ability to define business rules, establish data standards, and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data programs and cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare industry experience, particularly with claims and membership data.
  • Knowledge of data sourced from ACAS, HRP, or QNXT platforms.
  • Experience with data quality frameworks, controls, and materiality metrics.
  • Understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with data governance platforms, Quickbase, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and modern data environments.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
