Job description

This is a great opportunity for a new Audit Manager role in the lovely Tampa FL area.

If you have had it with your "Big 4" stress or just need a change, this could be a great opportunity. Top ranked regional mid-sized CPA firm, is growing and needing an Audit amp; Assurance Manager for performing overall management of audit and assurance assignments.

Role Qualifications:

  • CPA license is highly desired (this is assurance manager level) and or very close to attaining the license
  • 5-8+ years of GAAP, audit, assurance, and advisory work
  • Experience with assurance, audit for multiple entities as well as multiple industries including construction, healthcare, professional, manufacturing, some government entities
  • Working with clients in a range of revenues (up to $100M and more)
  • Managing the overall assurance process / financial statement review and prep for clients and leading / coaching additional assurance employees
  • Ability to report and work with management and CPA firm partners
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent, (Masters in accounting / MBA / other grad degree is a plus)
  • Excellent experience with client management and leadership skills
