The highest paying roles in neurosurgery typically include specialized positions such as neurosurgical directors, heads of departments, or surgeons with subspecialties like complex spine or tumor surgery, often earning well above the average salary. What jobs do neurosurgeons do?

Do neurosurgeons treat sciatica?

Neurosurgeons are trained to treat conditions affecting the nervous system, including nerve compression or damage that can cause sciatica. They may perform surgical procedures such as discectomy or spinal decompression if conservative treatments fail. However, many cases of sciatica are initially managed by primary care physicians or physical therapists.

Can a neurosurgeon help with scoliosis?
