Innovations Community Mental Health Center and Royael NeuroHaven TMS Studio are expanding and seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our innovative behavioral health team.

This hybrid position offers the opportunity to provide both traditional outpatient psychiatric care and advanced treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) (NeuroStar) for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.

Position Summary

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide:

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Medication management and follow-up care
  • TMS consultations and treatment eligibility assessments
  • Initial TMS brain mapping and motor threshold determination
  • Re-mapping and treatment adjustments as clinically indicated
  • Psychological testing and standardized mental health screenings
  • ADHD and attention assessments (including tools such as TOVA)
  • In-person and telehealth services
Essential ResponsibilitiesClinical Services
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
  • Diagnose mental health disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
  • Provide routine medication follow-up appointments
  • Coordinate care with therapists, case managers, and collaborating physicians
TMS Services
  • Evaluate patients for TMS treatment
  • Perform initial motor threshold mapping
  • Conduct re-mapping when clinically indicated
  • Monitor treatment progress and response
  • Collaborate with TMS technicians and support staff
Psychological Testing and Screenings
  • Administer and interpret standardized screening tools
  • Conduct ADHD and executive functioning assessments
  • Perform diagnostic screenings for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and cognitive concerns
  • Integrate results into treatment planning


  • Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation
  • Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and billing requirements
  • Assist with prior authorizations and insurance documentation
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance standards
QualificationsRequired
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited PMHNP program
  • Current PMHNP certification
  • Active Texas APRN license
  • Current DEA registration
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and documentation skills
Preferred
  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry
  • Experience with TMS (training available if needed)
  • Experience with ADHD testing and psychological screening tools
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
