Job description

Renown Health is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist to join our team.  This position is primarily responsible for providing quality pharmaceutical care and protocol implementation for patients on our medical, telemetry, neurosciences, and general surgery floors.  The incumbent must be an experienced or trained internal medicine practitioner that is able to provide and be responsible for drug therapy outcomes for individual patients as an integral member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Completion of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE accredited pharmacy program or 10 years of experience in acute care pharmacy is required. Completion of a Pharmacy Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy is preferred.

Experience:

Applicants with previous hospital pharmacy experience will be given preference.

License(s):

Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Pharmacist license.

Certification(s):

Healthcare BLS within the first 90 days of employment is required for all locations. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within the first 90 days of employment is required for location 200211, 200212 and 400211.

Computer / Typing:

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Type 25 WPM.
