Position:ย Licensed Practical Nurseย 
Department:ย  Neuroscienceย 
Shift: 7:00 pm-7:00 am Part Time ย 36 hours per pay period
Facility:ย Miami Valley Hospital

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in patient care, working collaboratively under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN is an integral part of the nursing team, contributing to the successful implementation of patient care plans. This role requires accountability for adhering to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies. Ultimately, the LPN provides essential physical, emotional, and spiritual support that directly and indirectly enhances the well-being and outcomes for patients and their families.

  • A valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Current AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Certified to administer medications.
  • A minimum of a diploma-level education.
  • IV Certification, preferred ย
