Job Description

Fiserv is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with AI/Generative AI experience to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills combined with exposure to AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI initiatives within the Banking or Financial Services domain. The candidate will work closely with product owners, data scientists, and engineering teams to gather requirements, define AI use cases, and support the successful implementation of AI-driven business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, data scientists, and development teams to define AI use cases.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and optimization.
  • Support AI solution design, implementation, testing, and production rollout.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Work with data engineering teams to define data requirements, data lineage, and business rules.
  • Create BRDs, FRDs, process flow diagrams, workflow documentation, and presentation materials.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
  • Support change management, user training, and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • 2+ years of experience working on AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI projects.
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts including LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI Agents, NLP, and Vector Databases.
  • Experience gathering requirements for AI-enabled applications.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL for data analysis.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, and UAT documentation.

Preferred Skills

  • Banking or Financial Services domain experience (Fiserv, Banking, Payments, Cards, Digital Banking).
  • Knowledge of OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Claude, or similar LLM platforms.
  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and AI security best practices.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Payment Processing, Merchant Services, Digital Banking, or Core Banking platforms.
