Summary: Immediate Full Time General Anesthesia: Orthopedic, Spine, and Pain/Endoscopy Cases
General and MAC anesthesia, No Pediatric, No Call, daily cases beyond 4pm is rare. Must have TX license and company will provide malpractice insurance. ABA Board certified if more than 3 years out of residency, regional experience preferred. Will be working from single facility. All credentialing and billing is handled by facility. Production bonus included. New graduates acceptable.
Job Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to the following:
• Physician will sometimes be medically directing CRNAs or AAs.
• Physician will 70% of the time be personally providing anesthesia care in their own cases.
• Physician must enter daily billing charges as directed by Chief of Anesthesia for their own cases.
• Physician must complete Operative Reports of cases in timely manner per facility protocol.
• Physician must attend quarterly physician review meetings.
• Physician must keep all licensures current and up to date without expiration.
• Physician must ensure timeliness of OR rooms to prevent a daily in-patient care.
• Physician will never be on FIRST Call.
• Physician will be doing each of the following cases:
o Chronic Pain Management – Rarely
o Cardiac Anesthesia – Never
o Thoracic Anesthesia – Never
o Major Vascular Anesthesia – Rarely
o Obstetric Anesthesia – Rarely
o Pediatric Anesthesia – Never
o Neuroanesthesia – Never
o Trauma Anesthesia – Rarely
o Critical Care Medicine – Never
o Anesthesia for Out-Patient Surgery – Usually
o Office Based Anesthesia – Never
o Administrative/Leadership Duties – Not in Interim

Qualifications:
• Must have Texas State licensure.
