We are in search of a collaborative and clinically proficient Interventional Radiologist to become part of our expanding interventional radiology program, which offers both inpatient and outpatient services within one of the region's most esteemed independent healthcare systems.

The selected physician will integrate into a high-achieving Interventional Radiology team that delivers a wide array of inpatient and outpatient procedural services, focusing on minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This full-time role is based at our main campus in Arlington, Virginia. Our IR program benefits from skilled technologists, dedicated nursing personnel, advanced imaging technologies, and a cooperative procedural environment that is continually evolving in both complexity and volume.

Our Interventional Radiology service collaborates closely with various specialties, including oncology, vascular surgery, hepatology, nephrology, trauma, emergency medicine, and surgical disciplines, to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the treatment continuum.

• Oncology:
  • Image-guided biopsies
  • Tumor Ablation
  • Y-90 Radioembolization
• Vascular:
  • Peripheral angiography and stent placement
  • Thrombolysis/thrombectomy
  • AV fistula and graft interventions
  • IVC filter placement/removal
  • Embolization
  • TIPS
• Non-Vascular:
  • Para/Thoracentesis
  • Nephrostomy, Gastrostomy, and Gastrojejunostomy tube placement
  • Myelogram
• Women's & Men's Health:
  • Uterine or Prostate embolization
  • Hysterosalpingography (HSG)
  • Fallopian tube recanalization
• Pain and Musculoskeletal:
  • Bone biopsies
  • Joint & Spine injections
  • Vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty
• Neuro Intervention:
  • Neuro interventional procedures (preferred; at least one physician will support stroke intervention in collaboration with neurology)

The ideal candidate will possess robust clinical and procedural expertise, a patient-focused approach, and a desire to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Interventional Radiology program.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
• Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR)
• Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in multidisciplinary care and program development preferred
• Neuro interventional radiology skills preferred (at least one member of the IR team must be trained in neuro intervention to support stroke patient care)

The compensation range for this position is $250,000.00 - $552,240.00 annually. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage (subject to eligibility requirements), along with additional wellness and retirement benefits designed to support our employees and their families.
