Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to join our Legal team in Alpharetta, GA. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a current student to gain meaningful, hands-on experience inside a global technology company known for precision, reliability, and innovation.
As a Legal Intern, you will work alongside experienced in-house counsel, contribute to real business matters, and support the operations that help drive Leica Geosystems' continued growth.
About the Role
The Summer Legal Intern will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Legal department, supporting both operational tasks and substantive legal projects. This role is ideal for students interested in corporate, commercial, or technology-focused in-house legal work.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Document & File Management - Organize, maintain, and archive digital and physical legal files.
  • Contract Support - Assist with reviewing, tracking, summarizing, and cataloging commercial agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.
  • Legal Research & Special Projects - Conduct targeted legal research and support ad hoc assignments related to corporate governance, compliance, regulatory matters, and internal process improvements.
