Job description

Position: Cybersecurity Network Engineer (39101)
Location: Remote

Description:
Client is migrating from Blue coat Proxy to Netskope secure Gateway. Consultant will be responsible for this effort.
Contribute to developing the cybersecurity engineering roadmap, delivering/designing secure systems, cyber applications, technical projects, and regulatory and risk requirements. This includes cybersecurity engineered solutions, framework, program optimization, vulnerability remediation, metrics reporting, performance analysis, and mitigating operational risk in a high-velocity culture
Responsibilities:
  • Develops engineering specifications to ensure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts to conform to security, resilience, and dependability requirements at the software application, system, and network environment level.
  • Assists cybersecurity architects in designing and developing security solutions consistent with business goals and risk tolerance.
  • Validates current and future-state architectural models to assess impact across assigned Cybersecurity technology systems.

Required Skills:
  • 4-6 years of Information Security experience
  • Experience deploying, managing, and migrating to Netskope's Secure Web Gateway product.
  • Proficient expertise in Proxy and Secure Web Gateway solutions
  • Experience with remote Web Isolation platforms
  • Highly skilled and experienced with remote access technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate user authentication/identity management controls, including Multi-Factor Auth, Single Sign-on
  • Exceedingly competent in configuring, and administering firewall platforms (both legacy and NGFW)
  • Experience in building pipelines, integrations, and automations leveraging tools and languages such as Python, PowerShell, Terraform, and/or Ansible
  • Knowledge of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, intrusion detection, VLANS, routing and other network security technologies
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies including virtual firewalls, networking and segmentation
  • Knowledge of networking and firewall configuration and monitoring
  • Experience working with cloud technologies, such as AWS and GCP.
  • Manage enterprise network security technologies e.g., firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, etc
