Job description

IT solutions company specializing in providing high-end information technology services to clients across multiple states is currently hiring a Network Engineer. This role is based in Florida and requires onsite support across multiple client locations in the Ocala and Orlando areas.
The candidate must meet the qualifications below and be local to Florida. Must be professional, customer-focused, self-driven, and team-oriented—salary contingent on experience and competency.
Only candidates local to the Ocala/Orlando, Florida area will be considered
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions to support the organization's business objectives.
  • Evaluate current network systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Configure and optimize network hardware, software, and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Implement security measures to protect the organization's network infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access. The ability to perform and understand network penetration and vulnerability testing with various tools.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve network-related problems promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and systems, to ensure alignment of network initiatives with business objectives.
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.
Qualifications:
