Job description

  • Gather requirements from business units, Information Security, and IT/OT infrastructure groups
  • Lead evaluation of new technologies and selection of technology vendors
  • Develop network designs and architectures with input from technical peers
  • Deploy and implement LAN/WAN, firewall, load-balancing, and wireless network solutions
  • Create as-built diagrams and documentation describing network standards and processes
  • Assist with documentation for budgeting and presentations to IT leadership
  • Serve as the highest escalation point for troubleshooting issues within ONEOK's network infrastructure
  • Evaluate and improve network security and address changing business needs
  • Advise leadership on strategic network decisions and ongoing projects
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of networking experience, including at least 3 years leading network design projects
  • Cisco professional- or expert-level certifications, or an IT-related bachelor's degree, a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences or equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in a discipline relevant to core IT architecture
  • Strong technical knowledge of DMZ environments, load balancers, and firewalls
  • Experience creating and deploying enterprise-wide network routing designs
  • Experience designing and deploying enterprise Wi-Fi solutions
