Altus Consulting is seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Herndon, VA. You will have the exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain innovative network solutions for our clients, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor network performance and identify and resolve network issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and provide technical support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends.
  • Document network configurations and procedures.
  • May support additional network-related tasks, such as security assessments and vulnerability management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for networking and continuous learning.
  • Experience with Cisco and other networking vendors.
