Detailed Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is an onsite position within our Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong working relationships with customer and team.
  • Work on site hardware failure cases for Netsync's Network Support service contracts.
  • Perform network appliance installations.
  • Customer, Partner/Vendor and cross-department relationship/partnership management.
  • Manage and update support cases in Customer, Netsync and OEM systems.
  • Collaborate with team to maintain availability for 24x7 support.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist in continual improvement to further streamline and automate existing processes and procedures.
  • Assist Netsync's NOC with Network Support cases.
  • Continued technical education in the networking field.
  • Assist with end user compute repairs.
  • Upkeep of work area.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Skills and Experience:

  • 1 or more years' IT experience.
  • Solid understanding of networking and security including routing/networking and TCP-IP protocols.
  • Able to routinely lift at a minimum 40lb.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Curiosity and strong desire to constantly learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office's suite of programs.

Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements:
