Job description

The Level 3 NOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the health of the organization's network infrastructure and systems.
This role involves providing advanced technical support, ability to resolve network issues. The Level 3 NOC Analyst will act as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 analysts, provide mentorship, collaboration. Ability to isolate availability and performance issues, leading towards site outages, as they occur.
Reports To NOC Shift Supervisor
Monitoring the network devices and infrastructure. Respond to alerts and incidents, performing diagnostics. Escalate issues as needed to Level 3 support or other support teams as needed. Create, Log, Track incident tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely response.
Utilize network monitoring tools, proactively monitoring network health, device availability.
Ability to troubleshoot routers and switches, conduit to the network engineering team
Keen awareness to NOCs Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)and Runbooks
Clear understanding of NJTs network topology to quickly isolate problems, minimizing MTTR.
Lead Analyst in charge to identify, isolate, and restoration of services to remote locations.
Senior team member, work collaboratively and gatekeeper to network engineering group.
Participate in ongoing training, professional development and remain current with technologies.
Must have flexibility to work alternate shifts when required, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities as outlined by the NOC Shift Supervisor in charge.
Knowledge of ITIL processes, best practices and workflow.
3 to 5 years, advanced experience in network operations, technology and support
Experience with SolarWinds system or similar NMS systems, toolsets, (Power User). Required
