A Day in the Life
  • The Provider Liaison serves as a strategic relationship manager, market growth partner, and key representative of Munson Healthcare within the Munson Healthcare Physician Network. This role acts as a critical connector between provider practices, system leadership, and service lines, driving alignment, growth, and an enhanced provider experience.
  • The Provider Liaison is responsible for regional provider engagement, referral performance, and network growth.
  • This position maintains primary responsibility for a designated geographic region, requiring independent account management, strong market knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. The Provider Liaison works closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities while contributing to system wide consistency and growth initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, strategically minded, and results-oriented, with a strong understanding of provider practice operations, referral dynamics, and healthcare delivery systems.

Qualifications
What's Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare, marketing, or related field required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare experience required, with preference for:
    • Physician practice or ambulatory operations
    • Provider relations, network development, or growth strategy
  • Demonstrated understanding of provider workflows, referral processes, access challenges, and patient flow
  • Experience supporting or driving growth initiatives, referral strategy, or provider engagement efforts strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to influence, engage, and build relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and office staff
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and project management skills
  • Ability to independently manage a regional portfolio and execute strategic initiatives
  • Proficiency with healthcare systems, referral tools, and data platforms to support decision-making
