One of our client in Santa Clara, CA is looking for Network Service Engineer.
Role: Network Service Engineer,
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 24+ Months.
Duties: Responsible for Network Engineering support in Equinix features relating to SDN/NFV, Internet Exchange connectivity UAT design and execution, Prepare and deliver training to Operations teams Work with cross functional teams as necessary to troubleshoot and resolve network related issues (route, switch, firewall, datacenter).
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability Familiarity with Cloud technologies and interconnections - AWS, Azure, GCP.
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Skills: 5+ years Proven hands-on network engineering experience CCNP or higher (CCIE preferred) Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, L2, L3) Solid understanding of the Data Center networking, Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto or similar vendor technologies Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
