We currently have an opportunity for an Endpoint Management Specialist to join our Information Technology team in our Winnipeg or Steinbach locations.

This role focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and consistent endpoint management services across the organization. They work independently on routine and moderately complex tasks, supporting standard initiatives and projects, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of endpoint management practices within established standards and architectures.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support Microsoft Configuration Manager (Current Branch) in a production environment.
  • Own the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of enterprise software deployments, operating system updates, security patches, and feature releases across Windows endpoint environments.
  • Architect and execute large-scale endpoint migration initiatives, including Operating System Deployments (OSD), in-place upgrades, hardware refresh programs, and user transition activities with minimal business disruption.
  • Monitor deployment health, endpoint compliance, system performance, and client reliability, driving issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues related to deployments and updates.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune for modern device management.
  • Configure and maintain device configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security baselines.
  • Lead application lifecycle management activities, including packaging, testing, validation, deployment, and support of enterprise software through Intune and endpoint management platforms.
  • Support Windows Autopilot enrollment and device provisioning.
  • Monitor enrollment success, device compliance, and application deployment results.
  • Support SCCMโ€“Intune comanagement for assigned workloads.
  • Apply endpoint security controls in alignment with defined standards.
  • Assist with remediation of endpoint compliance or security findings.
  • Provide advanced Tier2 / Tier3 support for endpoint managementrelated incidents.
  • Contribute to endpoint modernization, device lifecycle management, migration programs, and continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, security, automation, and user experience.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership and project teams, providing recommendations on endpoint management strategy, migration approaches, emerging technologies, and future-state architecture.
  • Work with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Security teams to resolve endpoint issues.
  • Participate in endpointrelated initiatives or improvement efforts as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Post secondary diploma or degree in Network Administration, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of related experience in a similar field, within a medium-to-large enterprise environment is ideal.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Intune, Endpoint Manager or Microsoft 365 is preferred.
  • Solid handson experience administering Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
  • Practical experience managing devices with Microsoft Intune.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and endpoint security concepts.
  • Working experience with PowerShell for administrative or support tasks.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve secondlevel technical issues, prioritize service requests, and escalate effectively to senior support or vendors.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders, support enterprise applications, and contribute to organizational and departmental goals.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities, including maintaining accurate IT documentation, managing procurement activities (hardware/software/licensing), and adapting to emerging technologies and business needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.ย 
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a demonstrated passion for tackling complex technical challenges.ย 
  • Experience supporting in hybrid or co-managed endpoint environments would be considered an asset.
  • Exposure to Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning is preferred.
