We are currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of Leisure Activities Instructor Mission and values: Our mission is to enable residents of the Saint Lambert long-term care facility on the golf course to live in harmony with a management style that closely resembles a home environment. Summary of role and responsibilities: Under the authority of the head of the multidisciplinary service and the director of nursing and client programs, the incumbent of this position assesses functional abilities, determines and implements a treatment and intervention plan, develops, restores or maintains skills, compensates for disabilities, reduces handicapping situations and adapts the environment in order to promote optimal autonomy of the individual in interaction with her environment. She participates in clinical teaching. As a Leisure Activities Instructor, you will have the opportunity to: Develop and lead individual or group leisure activities, in accordance with management guidelines and meeting the needs of residents. Oversee the organization and smooth running of leisure activities (calendar). Participate in mealtime activities and help with feeding the residents. Supporting new employees. To provide assistance in crisis and emergency situations. Perform any other related tasks.
