Description
Reliability Engineering team works across Anduril's entire product portfolio and supports programs from concept development through operational deployment. The team is responsible for developing reliability strategies, conducting predictive analysis, leading failure investigations, and implementing processes that improve system performance and mission success. Engineers on this team regularly interface with cross-functional stakeholders and are expected to influence technical decisions across organizations without direct authority. DUTIES Lead Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) Perform reliability modeling and predictive analysis including MTBF/MTTF calculations Execute Weibull analysis and identify reliability trends using test and field data Develop qualification, validation, environmental, life-cycle, and accelerated testing plans Investigate product failures and lead root cause analysis and CAPA activities Support design reviews including PDR, CDR, and manufacturing readiness assessments Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to improve production reliability Develop maintainability models and preventative maintenance strategies Establish and improve reliability engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure Drive reliability improvements throughout the entire product lifecycle

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience in Reliability Engineering, Test Engineering, Design Engineering, or similar role Experience with aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, military electronics, satellite systems, UAVs, or other safety-critical products Expertise performing: FMEA/FMECA Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) Reliability modeling Weibull Analysis MTBF/MTTF calculations Experience developing qualification and validation testing requirements Strong root cause analysis and failure investigation experience Experience supporting hardware products through development and production

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $115.00/hr.
