Position Overview
ReturnPro is seeking a Director of Network Operations to lead the performance, scalability, and coordination of daily operations across our multi-site supply chain network. This role is responsible for driving operational consistency, balancing capacity across facilities, and ensuring the network can flex effectively to meet changing demand. The Director will oversee facility leadership, standardize operating procedures, partner closely with Technology and Infrastructure teams, and help shape the strategy around warehouse systems, automation, and data-driven operations. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role focused on stability, efficiency, and scalable growth.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operational performance across multiple facilities
  • Manage and develop facility managers, ensuring strong execution, accountability, and alignment
  • Establish consistent operational expectations across sites
  • Serve as the central coordination point for network-wide operational priorities
  • Lead network-level capacity planning to ensure facilities are optimized for volume, labor, and space utilization
  • Shift workload across facilities to maintain balance and reduce strain during volume fluctuations
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and ReCommerce leaders to anticipate demand changes
  • Build and execute strategies for peak seasons and volume surges
  • Develop scalable playbooks for labor ramp-up, overflow management, and throughput optimization
  • Ensure the network is prepared for rapid growth and client expansion
  • Partner with site leaders to drive adoption and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Technology teams to ensure strong utilization and integration of warehouse management systems
  • Drive data visibility, reporting consistency, and performance tracking across facilities
  • Support system enhancements that improve operational accuracy and productivity
  • Collaborate with Technology and Engineering teams to support automation initiatives
  • Support implementation and adoption of new operational technologies
  • Partner with IT and Infrastructure teams to ensure facilities are properly supported
  • Ensure operational needs are aligned with system uptime, connectivity, hardware, and technology requirements
  • Escalate and help prioritize infrastructure investments that support operational performance

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in multi-site operations leadership within supply chain, logistics, or warehouse environments
  • Proven experience managing facility leaders and scaling operations across multiple locations
  • Strong background in capacity planning, network optimization, and performance management
  • Experience with WMS platforms and data-driven operational management
  • Exposure to automation initiatives and process optimization strongly preferred
