Job description

Job Summary:
Computer World Services is seeking a Network Operations Lead to oversee the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Network Operations Center contract operational teams. The role involves ensuring continuous network availability and performance while managing NOC operations and coordinating with government leads.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day NOC operations, ensuring 24x7x365 coverage.
• Direct monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure.
• Supervise NOC technicians and ensure SOP compliance.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance, patching, and system upgrades.
• Interface with CBP government leads for operational updates and escalations.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s in technical or engineering field.
• 10+ years in enterprise network administration.
• Proven experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Expertise with network monitoring and ticketing systems.
Preferred:
• CCNP/CCIE or ITIL v3 certification.
• DHS or Federal NOC experience.
