Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, helping to ensure a seamless experience for end users across hardware, software, and network systems. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while developing your troubleshooting and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely support by addressing user tickets related to hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Assist users with installing applications, configuring systems, and setting up peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners)
  • Diagnose technical issues by asking targeted questions and identifying root causes
  • Guide users through solutions with clear, step-by-step instructions
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary
  • Test and implement alternative solutions to resolve technical problems effectively
  • Customize and configure desktop applications based on user requirements
  • Accurately document technical issues, resolutions, and processes in internal systems
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and user guides
  • Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of facility systems, equipment, and office spaces.
  • Support facility inspections and help track maintenance requests, work orders, and asset records.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role (including internships/co-ops)
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and/or Mac OS environments
  • Working knowledge of office productivity tools and computer peripherals
  • Basic understanding of network security practices and antivirus tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues remotely and explain solutions clearly
