Avint LLC is seeking a sharp, security-minded ON-SITE IT Engineer with strong networking expertise to help design, build, and secure mission-critical infrastructure. In this hands-on role, you'll lead the implementation of Cisco-based LAN environments, troubleshoot complex network issues, and ensure systems meet rigorous security and compliance standards. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, manage real-time performance, and support high-impact government operations—this is your opportunity to make a difference.

This position is 100% ON-SITE in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement, monitor, and manage local and wide area networks to ensure maximum uptime.
  2. Design system configurations, document, and manage network installations, and maintain and upgrade systems as necessary.
  3. Design, plan, and implement LAN infrastructure.
  4. Configure and install Cisco switches.
  5. Implement network security measures and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  6. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance such as updates and upgrades.
  7. Maintain Cisco CCO account for case creation and IOS downloads.
  8. Document network configurations and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience configuring Cisco switches.
  • Current CCNA Security+ Certification.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI DOD Clearance.
