Job Summary:
Synergy ECP is a leading provider of cybersecurity, software and systems engineering and IT services to the U.S. intelligence and defense communities. They are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the design, integration, deployment, and optimization of secure, high-performance network solutions.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, configure, integrate, test, and support secure network solutions
โ€ข Deploy and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and boundary devices
โ€ข Optimize network performance, throughput, scalability, and reliability
โ€ข Monitor and troubleshoot network issues using tools such as WhatsUpGold and NetFlow
โ€ข Support WAN/LAN architectures and high-speed network topologies
โ€ข Collaborate with systems engineering and cross-functional teams to define and implement requirements
โ€ข Analyze network traffic and develop firewall rule sets
โ€ข Support security planning, risk analysis, and implementation of secure architectures
โ€ข Validate network dataflows, interfaces, and security device configurations
โ€ข Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support large-scale engineering efforts
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or related technical field
โ€ข Additional network engineering experience may substitute for degree requirements
โ€ข 5+ years of experience supporting complex network engineering programs or contracts
โ€ข Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls
