This role is pivotal in advancing Process Automation Solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. From virtualizing SCADA systems for satellite sites, pipeline networks, and digital oilfields to optimizing wellhead and upstream/downstream automation processes, INTECH's solutions empower industries to streamline operations, enhance reliability, and achieve superior performance outcomes.
What You'll Lead and Deliver
  • Design, develop, and implement software applications for industrial automation systems including PCS, SIS, F&G, SCADA, CMS, PMS, Instrument Asset Management, electrical systems, and associated communication and computer-based systems.
  • Analyze project specifications and control philosophies to identify system objects (PLC, HMI, instruments, loops) and define control logic, interlocks, alarms, timers, diagnostics, and sequence routines.
  • Design and configure HMI/SCADA applications including graphics, animations, pop-ups, detailed faceplates, alarm banners, and operator interfaces.
  • Develop and implement complex control strategies such as sequence logic, SFCs, cascade control, ratio control, split-range control, and advanced PID loops.
  • Design and configure inter/intra-system communications and data exchange using industrial protocols and networks including serial, fieldbus, and Ethernet-based technologies.
  • Design and implement data acquisition systems, historian configurations, and alarm management systems in accordance with approved alarm philosophies and operational requirements.
  • Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity implementation including access control, network segmentation, system hardening, and data integrity measures.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), FAT/SAT procedures, system manuals, and related technical documents.
  • Participate in factory and site activities including FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, system modifications, training, and final handover.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, company procedures, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
  • Bachelors in Electrical, Electronics or Control System Engineering
  • 8-10 years of experience.
  • Good understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation, and system functionality.
  • Ability to interpret FRS, P&IDs, C&E diagrams, and other technical documents.
  • Experience in FAT, testing, commissioning, along with strong MS Office and communication skills.
