Overview:
Role: Network Engineer
Location: Boston, Ma
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure network architectures for enterprise environments.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Check Point.
  • Deploy and manage F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic optimization.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis of network infrastructure.
  • Define and enforce network security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to ensure secure connectivity across environments.
  • Monitor network performance and security events, and respond to incidents.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network security posture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Palo Alto Networks firewalls
    • Cisco ASA firewalls
    • Check Point firewalls
    • F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers (LTM, GTM)
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with network monitoring and security tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
