Job Description: CNC Machinist | Charlotte, MI Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for precision machining and producing high-quality parts? We are collaborating with leading companies in Charlotte seeking CNC Machinists to lead and enhance their operations.   • Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and programming.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines and equipment.
Recommended Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of a vocational program or apprenticeship in machining or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and G-code
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application
  • Experience with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges)
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)
  • Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming for manual editing and optimization
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC machinery
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment
