Job Description

We are seeking a University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R) Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) who is ready to play a critical role in building high-performing teams. This role is designed for a strategic talent partner who thrives at the intersection of business partnership, talent strategy, and organizational impact.

The TABP will own the full cycle of University Relations & Recruiting, building and managing strategic relationships with target universities, partnering directly with hiring managers to develop pipelines, and hiring high-quality technical talent. This position plays an important role in shaping workforce growth through campus recruiting and university engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with target universities and student organizations aligned to business needs.
  • Establish and maintain long-term university partnerships, including faculty, career services, and student organizations.
  • Develop and execute campus recruiting strategies to build a sustainable early-career talent pipeline, including engineering disciplines and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain a "keep warm" strategy for candidates across academic cycles.
  • Screen, assess, and present qualified early-career candidates aligned to defined hiring profiles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to refine candidate criteria and selection strategies.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on early-career talent market trends and campus strategy.
  • Lead planning and execution of campus events, networking sessions, and student engagement initiatives.
  • Promote company culture, values, and mission alignment to strengthen brand presence.
  • Ensure a seamless, high-quality candidate experience through effective communication and process transparency.
  • Use data insights to inform campus strategy aligned to business sustainability and affordability goals.
  • Ensure adherence to recruiting policies, university guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage full life-cycle recruitment for regional and site-specific early-career and intern hiring requisitions.
  • Collaborate with University Relations & Recruiting teams to participate in university partnerships.
  • Update candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and analyze University Relations & Recruiting metrics.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence.
  • Consult with students, university partners, hiring managers, and leadership at various levels.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations; or
  • Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Must be based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, or within a reasonable commuting distance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle recruiting through offer acceptance.
  • Proficiency in Workday and Eightfold.
  • Previous talent acquisition experience in a corporate recruiting environment.
  • Talent acquisition experience supporting internship and early-career hiring.
